Learn how to monetise and market an app in thirty minutes with The App Show

This month’s App Show offers an in depth look into mobile monetisation and marketing, providing great practical tips from some of the industry’s leading experts into how to make a success of marketing your mobile app.

First up, we went to discuss mobile monetisation with some key figures from the world of gaming at the 3MG: Monetising and Marketing Mobile Games event. We discussed freemium with Aki Järvinen, a freelance mobile design consultant; the ethics of monetising games for children with Georgina Mackenzie of Toytek; how to use advertising to make money with Jean Phillipe-Decka of AppLift and how fun increases engagement with Mario Wynands, co founder of PikPok.

Then we headed over to the App Promotion Summit in Knightsbridge to discuss the best way of promoting a mobile app. We chatted to James Cooper, co founder of the event, about why he felt the event was needed; we spoke to Stefan Bielau about why getting app keywords right matters; we caught up with ex App Show contributor Adrienne Gauldie about how App Annie’s data powers strong marketing performance and we spoke to Meaghan Fitzgerald of 23 Snaps about how to get an elusive feature from Apple on the App Store.
