And the winner of our Apps World Giant iPad games contest is…

Apps World Europe is the major event for anyone involved in the European apps industry and this year it proved to be the busiest and most successful yet. So what better place was there for us to celebrate the launch of our Halloween 13 app? To keep visitors to our wonderful stand entertained we hired out a Giant iTab (thanks Touch2View!) and held a contest to see who was the fastest pumpkin smasher in Earls Court 2.

Our stand was a constant buzz of app developers and publishers looking for advice on how to promote their apps, whose afterwards did not doubt on taking part in this fierce competition!. The battle to top the leaderboard went right down to the wire. Today we’re delighted to announce that there were two tappers to rule them all and the honours go to Nicolas Arrellaga and Franco Puppo who won with times of 52 seconds and 58 seconds respectively.

So congratulations to Nicolas and Franco, the proud owners of a £50 gift voucher, as well as Orly Tsesis, Eitan Birshan, Tom Bishop and Matt Saunders who all earned £25 vouchers for being the best of the rest - you’re all scarily good at playing iPad games!
